Located in Glenwood, Howard Co., MD we offer certified instructors, therapists, & wonderful horses & ponies. We have two indoor arenas, a visitors lounge and viewing area, two outdoor rings, and woodland trails. NARHA Premier Center accreditation. Mission Statement: The mission of Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Center, Inc. is to enrich lives by providing equine-assisted activities, which includes Therapeutic Riding, and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, in a natural environment. Our vision is to: -reflect the current philosophy and training for therapeutic and recreational riding, as well as for equine assisted psychotherapy. -provide a state-of-the-art facility for lessons, training seminars, and horse clinics, and support groups. -provide community outreach in the horse industry. -enrich the local community through sharing the spirit of volunteerism as well as internships for high school, college, and graduate students. -set and maintain standards of excellence in the management and accountability
