Established in 1983, ALKC puts caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs. Assistance League of Kansas City, a chapter of National Assistance League, is dedicated to alleviating the consequences of poverty or crisis for children and adults in the greater Kansas City community. Member volunteers believe everyone deserves to have essential needs met to succeed. We are committed to transforming lives and pursuing greater diversity, equity and inclusion. Our practices will respect the dignity and and intrinsic value of the individuals we serve and with whom we serve.
