Hayo-Hikes a Huge Success from Coast to Coast! On June 1, we launched our very first Hayo-Went-Ha Camps regional alumni gatherings—and they were a big success! These casual meetups brought the spirit of camp to the trail, giving alumni a chance to reconnect, share stories, and enjoy the outdoors together. Virginia Hayo-Hike – Hosted by longtime campers and staff Casey and Hadley, the hike at Huntley Meadows Park drew an enthusiastic group of 22 alumni. The peaceful trails and scenic boardwalk provided the perfect setting to catch up and relive great camp memories. San Diego Hayo-Hike – Out west, Mary, Margo, and Mackenzie had a relaxed hike at Torrey Pines after meeting up at Bird Rock Coffee. The California crew shared a beautiful morning on the trail and left feeling reconnected and inspired. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped bring our first Hayo-Hikes to life. We loved seeing alumni come together and we are excited to announce we have our next Hayo-Hike scheduled for June 21st, 10am. You can meet MegVo at Vern’s Place (4120 W County Rd 54G, Laporte, CO 80535) at 10am to carpool to the trailhead to enjoy the Arthur’s Rock Hike. Interested in bringing a Hayo-Hike to your city?
