I love it when the police get involved. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zf4bplswXqk IMHO, this video is very good. Kudos to the Flagstaff Police Department in Arizona for taking the time to do this. I have a minor issue with their recommendation that cyclists "should" be in a bike lane. In Arizona, some of the bike lanes are a lot more dangerous than "taking the lane" and the law does not require that cyclists be in the bike lane. But, apart from that, I appreciate what they did. Often times law enforcement is reluctant to do anything like this because of the exceptions that we can all come up with (like I just did). So, thank you FPD for taking the time and for publishing this video. If you have anything from law enforcement in your area, please send it to us so we can post it. Ride safe! Be seen!
