Hey All! Lots of info here - please read. Looks like a cooler evening with some potential for rain. We run rain or shine, but we don't do lightning. If there are active storms, we'll update the group before the event. - Everyone needs to start scanning the QR code before the run and sign the waiver weekly. If you prefer not to run with your phone, please come early and put it away before you start. You'll get a confirmation email that will be your ticket for the run beer at the back bar. - We're a large group and need to behave that way when we're running. Stay on the sidewalk and/or run on the left side of the road so we're not taking up the whole street. - Summer is coming and it'll be hot. Please make sure you're hydrating throughout the day and listening to your body during the run. Get acclimated to the temps by running a few times during the week when it's warm, so it's not such a shock to your system at the Social Run. Consider carrying a handheld water bottle or other hydration system when it gets really hot. 🌎 Global Running Day is June 4 this year. We'll have some fantastic local orgs out with free swag, Montucky Cold Snacks after, and tees and tanks available for pickup at the run. Pre-orders closed on May 26 but we'll have a small number of tees available for purchase after the run next week. Runners - 🚫🦮 No dogs for the rest of the hot season. We'll announce when it's ok to bring them back out, but until then, leave them home. 🎽We're passing out member shirts and stickers before the run tonight. If you're a member who pre-ordered, we'll have them available until they're all picked up.
