🎨✨ Another incredible season is in the books! We’ve officially wrapped up our latest collaboration with Fargo Public Schools, welcoming 5,248 students into the Plains Art Museum galleries and studios over the past few months! 7,304 pounds of clay were used! Since 2012, this partnership has brought thousands of students through our doors to engage with exhibitions and create their very own clay projects in our studios. From exploring the galleries to getting their hands dirty with clay, each student had the chance to experience the magic of art in a professional setting—many for the very first time! 🖌️👐 This program is only possible thanks to a huge team of dedicated individuals: 🔸 Our trained Teaching Artists who guide students through each step 🔸 Our Studio Manager and Techs who carefully bisque fire, dip into clear glaze, and then glaze fire every project 🔸 Our School + Studio Program Manager and Curriculum specialists who plan the experience to be engaging, informational and enjoyable 🔸 The FPS Creative Arts Studio Administrative Assistant who coordinates every class and bus schedule 🔸 The numerous bus drivers who deliver and pick up the students on time each day 🔸 The FPS driver who safely transport projects back to classrooms 🔸 The amazing classroom and art teachers who prepare the students for this experience 👏 We are deeply grateful to every person who plays a role in bringing this experience to life. It’s truly a community effort, and we’re honored to help nurture creativity in our region’s youngest artists. The artist for each piece has set the price at either the fair market value or the minimum bid.
