Welcome to the Lake Houston Sports and Recreation Foundation. The Lake Houston Sports and Recreation Foundation The Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization formed by members in the community who were interested in sustaining and improving the Lake Houston area by increasing public awareness about the value of having Lake Houston in our community. The Foundation hosts events throughout the year that benefit the Lake Houston fishery stocking program in cooperation with Texas Parks and Wildlife Continued cooperative efforts with the City of Houston to address water quality and habitat issues including native plant restoration via The Foundations native aquatic plant nursery and providing resources planning and widely promoting other Lake Houston projects using social media along with alternative and traditional media outlets. Your donations and participation in the Lake Houston Sports and Recreation Foundation events will help turn Lake Houston into a firstclass destination for our community and visitors from across the State.
