The National Cancer Institute defines a survivor as “a person who is considered to be a survivor 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘴 until the end of life.” That definition has reshaped the way we think about today. It's not just as a celebration of those who are cancer-free, but a way to honor every person who has faced cancer, no matter where they are in their journey. Today, we celebrate Millie.
