Mission: IHI identifies needs and develops solutions to improve the lives of vulnerable people worldwide, through meaningful connections, capacity building and aide.Who we serve: Vulnerable populations worldwide include (but are not limited to) those who have unique needs such as those diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (regardless of origin), autism spectrum disorders, behavior disorders, physical disabilities, visual and hearing impairments, multiple disabilities (including medically fragile), and those who are orphaned, live in poverty and/or war torn regions, have been victims of crime, suffer for mental health needs, or have been abused or otherwise mistreated creating compounding impacts of difficult life circumstances.
