Savannah Rep intentionally produces vibrant works of modern theater, and is compelled to create space for a new generation of storytellers. We intend to break through the socioeconomic barrier that limits access to theatrical programming, uplift new works and the narratives of marginalized groups, and therefore entertain and engage all of Savannah’s neighborhoods and communities. We take pride in our place in this community, and therefore choose to tell stories in and for the south.
