Friends of Rose Canyon – Save Rose Canyon Park

Our mission is to protect, preserve and restore Rose Canyon and the Rose Creek Watershed. We focus on communities in the Rose Creek watershed, which includes the University City/Golden Triangle area, Clairemont and Pacific Beach. Our primary focus is Rose Canyon and the University City/Golden Triangle area. However, our education programs serve 11 schools, including five in the UC area, five in Clairemont, and one in Pacific Beach. We offer guided nature exploration walks for schools in both Rose Canyon Open Space Park and Marian Bear Park (San Clemente Canyon). We also work on environmental issues throughout the watershed, including the lower watershed, which includes Pacific Beach and Mission Bay.
