Mayte's Rescue is a 501C3 nonprofit, founded by Mayte Garcia. Donations and sponsors are needed. Mayte's Rescue was founded to place adoptable dogs in new and loving homes. In that, our goal is to rescue abused dogs, and those that have been neglected or lost their owner due to unfortunate circumstances. In addition, we will aid in the fight against pet overpopulation and abuse.We are animal lovers and advocates for animal rights and safety. Mayte's Rescue was started 5 years ago when I saw a trash can full of euthanized dogs and cats from a shelter on Facebook. Its in our blood. I started a small rescue, rescuing from acquaintances that were moving or couldn't keep the dog anymore, then I finally made friends with rescuers/transported and started to pull from shelters.Our goal in Las Vegas is to be a community staple.
