Red Poppy is dedicated to promoting the power of Latin American poetry to not only evoke emotions but to shift social consciousness sparking both individual and collective change. We just published a multilingual anthology Resistencia Poems of Protest and Revolution. It is a book that goes to the heart of our mission as a nonprofit. Resistencia is an extraordinary collection rooted in a strong tradition of protest poetry and expressed by icons of the movement from the beginning of the 20th Century and by some of the most exciting voices of today.
