Whitehurst-Buffington House Foundation | A House Over Time WhitehurstBuffington House A House Over Time A Place Worth Preserving The WhitehurstBuffington House will be restored and preserved as a living example of Virginia life in 18th and 19th centuries and as a tribute to the Whitehurst family. With the help of archeologists and historians the area will be studied and researched for its historical significance. But this will also be a gathering place a place for families to celebrate explore play and picnic. The house and surrounding property will serve as a conservation and historical center for the enjoyment and education of future generations.
