The Autism Society is committed to meaningful participation and self-determination in all aspects of life for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. The Autism Society Southern Arizona accomplishes its ongoing mission through close collaboration with a successful network of affiliates, members and supporters as well as several local non profits.

Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD is a complex developmental disability typically appearing during childhood and affecting a persons ability to communicate and interact with others. 1 in 36 or 2. 7 of 8yearold children in an area of Arizona were identified with ASD by Arizona Developmental Disabilities Surveillance Program ADDSP.
