HISTORY To help accelerate Hamiltons downtown revitalization and reduce the financial barriers to investing in the urban core a publicprivate partnership consisting of the City of Hamilton the Hamilton Community Foundation and local lending institutions established the Consortium for Ongoing Reinvestment Efforts CORE in December 2012. This powerful partnership operates as a notforprofit 501c3 and provides the necessary capital to reduce financial risk and offer a strategic framework from which catalytic projects can be initiated. WHAT WE DO CORE manages funds for strategic commercial real estate property acquisition and investment. While COREs initial focus area is within Hamiltons urban core which includes the Central Business District and immediately surrounding areas of German Village Historic District Main Street Rossville Historic District South East Dayton Lane Historic District and East High Street its efforts are not limited to this area.
