Our primary initiative is specifically tailored and responsive towards underserved individuals. Much of today's therapy, inadvertently has caused some populations to conform their needs to what society provides. At Caritas, our mission is to meet the people where they are at in order to provide effective mental health interventions, tools and resources. We hope that acknowledging the societal limitations of the current mental health model will not only benefit the community, but will spearhead a movement to re-design the existing system of mental health care.

This innovative collaboration represents a new model for addressing homelessness while supporting individuals with behavioral health and substance use disorders on their journey toward independence. The partnership establishes Caritas Care Solutions as the primary provider of wrap-around services at The Salvation Army shelter, offering daily programming and clinical services including psychiatry, therapy, targeted case management, therapeutic rehabilitation programs, peer support, and community support services.
