The backStorygroup is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding the understanding of Israel to include its vibrant reality and its diverse people. THE BACKSTORYGROUP'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE AND EXPAND WITHIN THE UNITED STATES AN AWARENESS AND KNOWLEDGE OF ISRAEL'S VAST CULTURAL LANDSCAPE AND ITS DEVELOPMENTS IN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, MUSIC AND THE ARTS. THE BACKSTORYGROUP CREATES PROGRAMS TO CREATE CROSS-CULTURAL EXCHANGES FOR PROFESSIONAL AND STUDENT PRODUCERS OF DIGITAL/BROADCAST CONTENT AND FILM MUSIC TO EXPOSE THEM TO ISRAEL'S CULTURE AND DEVELOPMENTS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL MISSIONS TO ISRAEL, INCLUDING NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. THE BACKSTORYGROUP WAS INCORPORATED WITH THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING THIS EDUCATIONAL AND CROSS-CULTURAL OPPORTUNITY WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE.

Our mission is to help bring perceptions of Israel more in line with its dynamic reality through the engagement of students and professionals in the cultural and entertainment arenas. To us the best way to spread this belief is by building relationships between American and Israeli creatives who can share their own talents working together to create content including the rich stories of Israel and its people. what we do The backStorygroup connects American and Israeli media producers screenwriters film music composers and other creators through trips to Israel and virtual programs with the intention of building collaborative efforts with their Israeli counterparts.
