The Alabama World Language Education Foundation Inc. (AWLEF) is a non-profit, charitable organization headquartered in Northport, Alabama. It was founded by Krista Chambless, who serves as its Executive Director.

She has been recognized for her contributions to language education, including the 2024 J. David Edwards Power of Advocacy Award and the 2023 AATSP Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award.
