Lynchburg Daily Bread serves a free, hot, nutritious meal every day of the year. Now serving 100k meals a year to the homeless and hungry. Serving the hungry of the Lynchburg area since 1982. We are open 365 days a year and serve lunch from 10:15-12:20. Office hours are 6:30am-12:30pm. We serve a hot, nutritious meal to the homeless and hungry of the Lynchburg area, 365 days a year. Centrally located in downtown Lynchburg, we serve approximately 600-900 meals per day. Because 800+ pounds of food are donated every day, we now bring excess meals 1-2x per week to various locations that are too far to walk to us. The Meals Outreach Program includes Madison Heights, Appomattox, Altavista, Bedford and low-income/senior apartments in out-lying areas of Lynchburg. In 2022, we served 164,276 meals - more than ever before in our 40 year history. Please help us to support these hundreds of families and seniors.
