Our mission is to change existing perceptions and opinions of the athlete with disabilities in our community and beyond, as well as to offer a competitive athletic opportunity for individuals with disabilities. We aim to not only produce an environment where the game of sled hockey is learned but also to produce the opportunities and qualities created and learned within the sport. These qualities include the development of self-esteem, teamwork, practice and on-ice achievements which can be transferred to accomplishments within the daily life of the athlete with a disability.
