We believe in the the power of informed participation and meaningful action in the political process. Our programs are designed to educate on the legislative issues facing Kansans, provide the innovative tools for effective personal advocacy, and increase civic participation by breaking down barriers to voting for marginalized communities, including young adults, communities of color, and LGBTQ+ Kansans.

We envision a Kansas political system that represents all of its constituents. The Mainstream organization is comprised of two affiliates with distinct but complementary goals our 501c4 Mainstream Coalition and 501c3 Mainstream Civic Engagement formerly Mainstream Education Foundation dba The Voter Network. Together we aim to realize our shared vision of a Kansas political system that represents all of its constituents.
