International Land-Sensitive Art Foundation
The purpose of the International Land-Sensitive Art Foundation (ILSAF) shall be (i) to fund artists and collaborative artist teams to create land-sensitive temporary public installations; (ii) to challenge artists to create environmental pieces that inspire, question, engage and otherwise influence the residents of and the public visitors to the host community; (iii) to inspire intractive art that encourages audience response and transforms the public into active contributors to the creative process; (iv) to educate the public about the importance of relational and socially-engaged art; (v) to document the artistic process through file, video and publications; (vi) to facilitate artist participation in national and international public art programs; and (vii) support host communities with outreach initiatives.
