Please rise for our 2025 Rising to Run cohort! 🌹👏🏾 We were honored to convene in Phoenix, Arizona with over 20 incredible women for our inaugural, in-person Rising to Run! We want to thank several people for making this training a success. First off, thank you to our curriculum consultant German Cash for putting together thoughtful modules that our participants could critically reflect back upon. We are also grateful for the guidance warmth provided by our stellar trainers Raquel Terán and Amanda Farias, as well as our super-star panelists Priya Sundareshan, Ellie Pérez-Pawloski, and Ylenia Aguilar. And last but not least, a huge round of applause for our case-study presenter Natasha Megie-Maddrey for sharing insights from her powerful, community-centered journey to office! We also express our deep gratitude to the Torres Multicultural and Arizona Education Association for letting us host this weekend in culturally powerful and relevant spaces ✊🏾 Just because you lose an election doesn’t mean you have to lose your community.
