BENEFITS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS BY MAKING THEM UNDERSTAND THROUGH THIER ACTIONS THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO DRIVE A MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT HITTING OBSTACLES WHILE DISTRACTED. PRIOR TO THE DEMONSTRATION, THE TEENAGERS BELIEVE THAT THEY CAN HANDLE TEXTING BEHIND THE WHEEL, WHEN THEY ARE IN THE SIMULATOR THEY SEE THAT THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF NOT HITTING TRAFFIC CONES AND THAT TEXTING IS A DANGEROUS DISTRACTOR AND A POOR CHOICE.
