Exceptional Adventures provides supervised travel, recreation leisure opportunities to over 2,000 people (teens and adults) with intellectual and developmental disabilities annually. With 40 years of experience, we are one of the largest travel and tour services of its kind in the U.S. Trip destinations and lengths of tours matches the interests and abilities of the individual participants. Guests leave the tours with memories that last a lifetime. Exceptional Adventures also hosts monthly dances and other activities for both teens and adults. Tour coordinators are trained to ensure that each person can have an amazing experience regardless of their needs. Tours can accommodate persons with special needs such as sign language, special dietary restrictions, or visual impairment.
