Hawaii Association of School Psychologists Advocating for Hawaiis Keiki and their Ohana HASP Mission StatementHASP promotes learning social emotional development and overall wellbeing by supporting and advocating for Hawaiis keiki children and their ohana family. We encourage current and effective practices in psychological assessment educational interventions legal and ethical issues and mental health to meet the unique needs of Hawaiis students schools and communities. As an organization we strengthen our sense of belonging and unification through collaboration professional development and positive recognition across the islands. School Psychologists apply expertise in mental health learning and behavior to help children and youth succeed academically socially behaviorally and emotionally.
