Animal Control & Welfare Project's mission is to provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection in Summers County, WV. Our purposes include reuniting lost animals with their owners, seeking suitable placement for animals without owners or adequate care, assisting community members in the spay / neuter of their pets, the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the extension of humane education in schools and the community.
