Jensen Healey Preservation Society
The Jensen Healey Preservation Society is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Jensen Healey and Jensen GT cars. Established in 1990, this organization was initially known as the Southern California Jensen–Healey Owners Association until 1992. By 1994, it merged with the Los Angeles Area Jensen Healey Owners Club to form the current entity.
Purpose and Activities
The primary goal of the Jensen Healey Preservation Society is to educate its members about these vehicles and assist owners in maintaining and restoring them. The society provides a platform for sharing historical anecdotes, technical tips, and articles through a monthly newsletter, which is distributed to members worldwide. This serves as a valuable resource for enthusiasts and owners seeking to keep these classic cars on the road while fostering a sense of community among members.
History
The society was formed during a period when these models were already becoming collectible and required support from a dedicated community. Since its inception, it has grown to include a worldwide membership, offering support and knowledge to help preserve these vehicles' heritage.
Membership and Outreach
Today, the Jensen Healey Preservation Society has a significant international membership base, reflecting the global interest in maintaining these iconic British sports cars. By engaging in various activities and providing essential resources, the society helps ensure that the Jensen Healey and Jensen GT remain celebrated examples of British automotive history.
