
Zumwalt Courts Inc
We develop and implement individualized strategies that enable people with developmental disabilities to pursue total access to community life. Fostering independence for Arkansans with developmental disabilities since 1971 ZUMWALT COURTS INC. IS A GROUP HOME FOR TWENTY DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUALS. RESIDENTS RECEIVE LIVING AND SELF-HELP SKILLS TRAINING TO ENABLE THEM TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. SECTION 202 LOAN FUNDS WERE OBTAINED FROM HUD FOR CONSTRUCTION. IN ADDITION TO THE LOAN, HUD PROVIDES RENTAL SUPPLEMENTS FOR THE RESIDENTS AND REQUIRES THE RESIDENTS TO PAY A RENTAL AMOUNT. THE RESIDENT'S RENT APPROXIMATES 30% OF THE RESIDENT'S ADJUSTED INCOME OR IS A FLAT RENTAL FEE DETERMINED BY HUD.
