Women Veteran Social Justice Network Inc.
The Women Veteran Social Justice Network Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women veterans across the United States. Founded by BriGette McCoy in 2008, the organization initially started as an online discussion group and later expanded to Facebook in 2009. Its mission is to honor and welcome women veterans from all eras, service times, and branches by providing various programs and services to enhance their experiences.
Mission and Activities
- Empowerment: The organization focuses on identifying, connecting, and empowering women veterans through professional and personal connections. The Women Veteran Social Justice Network received the 2020 Citizen Honors Award from the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation for its work in identifying, connecting, and empowering women veterans through community service.
