PIE, Inc. empowers low-income employment candidates with free employability seminars on job search presentation, articulation & interview tips & techniques Empowering our low-income employment candidates to improve their chances of becoming gainfully employed, productive, self-sufficient community members. Perception Is Everything, Inc. (PIE) is a not-for-profit organization that empowers low-income employment candidates who may be emancipated foster children, at-risk youth, high school and college students and graduates, the homeless, veterans, abused women in shelters and the underserved, unemployed who would benefit from specific, streamlined counseling in creating an effective cover letter & resume, making realistic career choices, using social media in the job search, the job application process, appropriate business attire, proper hygiene, business communication skills and grammar, business etiquette , interview tips and techniques, complete with skits depicting real interview scenarios, candidates' rights, and referral for adult education, job training and recruiting services.  Our mission is to improve their odds of becoming gainfully employed, productive citizens.It is our goal to make a huge impact by changing the employment status of low-income employment candidates in Palm Beach County, and then to expand in South Florida.
