Friends of Katanga Methodist University
We are a fund-raising arm of Katanga Methodist University (KMU). KMU is located in the village of Mulungwishi, in the DRC, the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It's history dates back to the original missionaries sent to the DRC by The Methodist Church. KMU has a phenomenal history of training effective pastors, contributing mightily in the growth of God's Kingdom to over 2,000,000 Methodist members in the southern part of the Congo. As missionaries retired, KMU lost these people as USA connected development officers. We seek to fill the role formerly filled by missionaries as they travel back to the USA and told their stories of the opportunities for Kingdom investment among the Congolese people.

Friends of KMU Friends of KMU Friends of Katanga Methodist University Katanga Methodist University was established in Mulungwishi D. R. Congo in 2002 with the express purpose of training leaders for both the Church and Society through the Schools of Theology Information Technology PsychologyEducation and Agriculture and currently has 900 students. Its ongoing financial need is currently provided by grant and donation.
