Friends of Katanga Methodist University
We are a fund-raising arm of Katanga Methodist University (KMU). KMU is located in the village of Mulungwishi, in the DRC, the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It's history dates back to the original missionaries sent to the DRC by The Methodist Church. KMU has a phenomenal history of training effective pastors, contributing mightily in the growth of God's Kingdom to over 2,000,000 Methodist members in the southern part of the Congo. As missionaries retired, KMU lost these people as USA connected development officers. We seek to fill the role formerly filled by missionaries as they travel back to the USA and told their stories of the opportunities for Kingdom investment among the Congolese people.
