Owning a home in Central Oregon comes with high costs, largely due to the price of land. However, RootedHomes offers a solution through the community land trust model. By taking the high land cost out of the equation, RootedHomes sells homes at below-market rates while allowing homebuyers to build equity.

We're incredibly grateful to Karl Dinkelspiel for his significant contributions during his nearly two years at RootedHomes, serving as Interim Executive Director and previously as Deputy Director. Karl was key in advancing our mission, overseeing the start of construction on 81 new homes across Bend and Redmond (with first move-ins this summer. ).
