The MMSC was founded to fill the gap in the services provided to those suffering from MS and their families. Over 15,000 individuals in the Washington D.C. metro area are affected by MS. It is essential that the MS families in the metro area have a Center to rely upon which focuses solely on MS and the issues which surround the illness.
