St. Loyis. Chapter, Montford Point Marine Association, Inc. is a non-profit Veterans organization organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. This organization was formed so as to provide community service to promote social, recreational and edu-cational activities. However, its main mission is to preserve the legacy of the original African American U. S. Marines that were trained at the segregated training camp located at Montford Point in Jacksonville, North Carolina
