🚌 What a powerful day on the road with our community and partners! The Baltimore Together bus tour took us through the heart of West Baltimore—from Mondawmin to Upton—spotlighting transformational projects, historic restorations, and bold strategies to eliminate vacant properties and build stronger neighborhoods. We explored bold redevelopment efforts, historic restorations, and innovative neighborhood investments that reflect the heart of our inclusive and equitable economic development strategy. From PS 103 Thurgood Marshall Center to the future Charm TV HQ, the tour showcased how public, private, and grassroots partners are working together to turn opportunity into action. A huge thank you to Commissioner Alice Kennedy (DHCD) for guiding the vision, and to our incredible speakers and partners: Johndre Davis (DHCD), Dean Harrison (developer), Kelly Little (Upton Planning Committee), and Ira Kowler (BDC) for sharing critical insights on everything from the Commercial District Assessment to innovative Main Streets revitalization.
