OUR VISION At Taproot Charities we believe education is a fundamental right and the greatest barrier to accessing education is poverty. We also believe creating opportunities for quality education for girls in rural Africa is the most effective way to fight intergenerational poverty and create lasting change in these girls lives. By focusing on girls education we are empowering marginalized individuals and tapping into an underutilized resource in an impoverished region. Our vision is that every girl in rural Africa would be given the opportunity to receive an education and become agents of change and leaders in their homes and communities.
