A Lifetime of Healthy Vision for Georgians - Prevent Blindness Georgia

Preventing blindness & preserving sight for Georgians Founded in 1965, Prevent Blindness Georgia (PBGA) is the state affiliate of Prevent Blindness, the leading voluntary eye health organization dedicated to the prevention of blindness and the preservation of sight. Prevent Blindness Georgia was founded in 1965 as the state affiliate of Prevent Blindness America, the nation's leading eye health and safety organization. Our mission is to preserve sight and prevent blindness for all Georgians. The heart of our mission is to serve Georgians and their communities facing barriers to accessing quality eye health and vision care. We provide certified vision screenings, comprehensive eye exams, prescription eyeglasses, retinal imagining, public education on eye health and safety to persons at risk for eye disease, and national vision screening training. Our goal is for no Georgian - child or adult - to needlessly lose their eyesight to preventable vision loss.
