Meet Liset Diaz-Cortes, a first-generation college graduate who did it all with purpose and Bronco pride! 💛 🎓 Liset earned her degree in interior architecture and design from #WMU all while raising a newborn. Through Experience-Driven Learning, she completed a two-year internship with AVB, a yearlong fellowship with the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and traveled to premier design industry events like NeoCon Shows. “I found a strong sense of belonging within the interior architecture and design program,” says Liset. “The mentorship I received prepared me not only to graduate but to succeed in the field.” Liset’s story is a powerful reminder that anything is possible with determination, support and opportunity.
