Iowa Citizen Action Network Calling All Storytellers. Republicans in Congress are pushing legislation that would impose work requirements and annual spending caps on Medicaid enrollees. If passed this legislation would pull federal spending out of Iowa harming hospitals particularly in rural areas costing jobs and forcing the state to make devastating cuts to health care education or other programs Iowans rely on.
