We are 100% volunteer, 100% donation and 100% free vegetable and fruit giveaway. Your support improves the quality of life for hundreds of people in our community by enabling us to provide wholesome, nutritious, locally grown vegetables and fruit to families in need in Indian River County. We also grow Miracle Fruit which is helpful to diabetics and cancer patients. Funds raised by the Shining Light Garden Foundation are used to purchase seeds, farm equipment, and capital improvements such as well and irrigation equipment. Your donations help us to feed more people in need.

Students from the Masters Academy learned a couple of things while visiting the farm. Harvesting onions is hard work: prepping onions is light duty and … doesn’t involve any crying. God has a sense of humor, young lady on the left just starred in a play as ‘Sweet Onion’.
