This report questioned the conventional wisdom that saturated fats adversely affect heart health. The summer 2015 In Focus examines the science behind this new research and draws our readers attention to the crucial issues. The newsletter also describes a new democracy program at Freedom House and an award at the American Foreign Service Association both launched to further honor Ambassador Mark Palmer CECHEs vice chairman who passed away in January 2013.
