News
On Thursday, the Environmental Science Academy attended the MAEOE Green Schools Youth Summit at Sandy Point State Park, joining 2,000 students and over 30 environmental organizations from across the state. Baltimore students explored local ecology through hands-on activities like identifying animal tracks and scat, learning how tree and bay health are monitored, and watching an osprey catch its lunch. They also discovered how arborists care for trees and enjoyed the park’s scenic views of lighthouses, ships, beaches, and salt marshes. (fb)
