The enhancement of the quality of life for youth, especially those with disabilities, through the delivery of a traditional camp experience by caring individuals, most of whom are volunteers and to enable others to use our camping and retreat facilities to serve the larger communities humanitarian needs.

Lions Camp Crescendo Providing A Free Camp Experience since 1982 The Lions of Kentucky have been dedicated to providing a FREE camp experience for underserved children. The original camp was the Kentucky Lions Youth Camp for blind and visually impaired children founded in 1982. In 1992 the camp expanded to include deaf and hardofhearing children. The Lions purchased Camp Crescendo in March of 1996 and created two additional free camps.
