FOCL is a charitable nonprofit organization whose purpose is to cooperate with and assist the Library staff in the development of programs and services for the Corolla community, the execution of special programs for children and adults. Further, FOCL's purpose is to reach out and foster close relationships with the Corolla community in support of the Library; to fundraise through membership in FOCL and other endeavors as a means of aiding the Library staff in enhancing the book inventory and equipment; to offer used books for sale; and to encourage gifts of books, materials and equipment to the Library. The assets and any income of FOCL shall be used exclusively for the foregoing mission, and no part thereof shall inure to the benefit of any private individual or entity, nor for any political or other business purpose as delineated below.
