RURAL LIBRARY FOUNDATION
RLF is committed to empowerment of communities through / by promoting life long learning, refinement of mind, body and spirits. RLF tries to achieve and sustain this by encouraging / promoting reading habits early on through establishment of school libraries, community libraries and information/research centers by engaging and tapping into the largesse of the community, local organizations and governments. RLF would strive to partner with like minded individuals and organizations to constitute learning networks to tap into the experiences of communities and governments worldwide in effectively delivering these services. RLF would also work with groups working for a wholistic, just and sustainable development, particularly among the marginalized regions/sections of India and elsewhere.
