Dedicated to promoting awareness & excellence within Skin of Color Dermatology. To promote, support, and stimulate the development of information related to all aspects of skin of color within the specialty of dermatology and to make this information available to the general population. To provide a forum for the exchange of information pertaining to skin of color. To promote the education of physicians, residents and non-physician scientists, media, government, and third parties, i. e. managed care, insurance organizations, and other entities, about the unique properties, reaction patterns and diseases that occur in individuals with skin of color by encouraging courses in skin of color and other related topics at scientific meetings and dermatology training centers.
