Norbcc Inc, also known as the New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce (NORBCC), is a 501(c)(6) organization focused on supporting, promoting, and educating its members for sustainable growth and expansion. It is primarily dedicated to the business development and economic empowerment of Black communities in the New Orleans region.
Mission and Activities
The mission of NORBCC is to empower and sustain the African-American business community through entrepreneurship and economic activity in the greater New Orleans region and the global economy. It serves as a valuable resource and voice by promoting inclusivity and awareness of opportunities for local small and emerging Black businesses across a 10-Parish Region, including Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, St. Bernard, Washington, St. John, St. James, St. Charles, and Plaquemines[2][3].
NORBCC hosts a variety of events and programs, such as webinars, networking events, and conferences, to provide opportunities for business growth and community engagement. Members are encouraged to participate in committees and serve as ambassadors for the chamber[3].
