Childhood Education International

Childhood Education International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a rich history dating back to 1892. Originally founded as the International Kindergarten Union (IKU), it has evolved over the years, becoming the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) before adopting its current name in 2019.

In 1946, the organization added "International" to its name, symbolizing its global engagement.
