We do this by upholding education and learning as essential to the development of all people and societies and recognize that children are our hope for the future.
Childhood Education International
Childhood Education International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a rich history dating back to 1892. Originally founded as the International Kindergarten Union (IKU), it has evolved over the years, becoming the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) before adopting its current name in 2019.
Mission and Activities
The organization is dedicated to ensuring that all children worldwide have access to quality education. It accomplishes this by co-creating innovative educational solutions in partnership with various stakeholders. Childhood Education International focuses on several key areas, including:

History
Established in 1892, the organization has its roots in the IKU, which aimed to improve the professional preparation of kindergarten teachers. In 1946, the organization added "International" to its name, symbolizing its global engagement.
